We found out early this year that the special needs P.E. class at Swiftcreek Middle School no longer had the use of a special adult tricycle. It was loan from another student that moved on to high school.  Peggy Taylor , the special needs P.E teacher, informed us that they did not have the funds in the budget to purchase the $550 bike. So we held a fundraiser at our recent Oktoberfest to raise money to purchase the bike for them. The fundraiser was a success and we have purchased the bike and presented it to Swift Creek Middle school this past Friday, October 24^th, at 9:15am. The Principal, Diane Smith, was present as well as the P.E. teacher Peggy Taylor. The Chesterfield Observer will make an announcement in it's upcoming 11/5 issue.
