Fishing Derby - June 19, 2011
5th Annual Spring Fishing Derby Catch Some Summer Fun!
It’s that time again! Fishing with your favorite kids and grand kids. Trophies
awarded for a variety of categories in two age groups, 3-8 and 9-18. Worms provided,
other bait allowed (Bass like minnows!), bring your own fishing equipment. $5 ($15
max per family) admission pays all! Arrive between 1:15 and 1:45 to sign in and
get bait, derby starts promptly at 2:00 PM. Sunday, June 19th, 2010 2:00-3:00 PM
Jubilee Lake (middle lake)
Derby rules:
Fish may be kept if you bring your personal stringer.
All categories will be scored by length of fish (derby officials will be available to measure and record fish).
Awards for:
- Biggest Fish
- Biggest Bash
- Biggest Catfish
Each of the three awards will be presented in each age category. Age categories are 3 – 8 years old and 9-18 years old. Cost is $10.00 per child - $25 max per family. Make checks payable to HPMC. Cash accepted.
Worms will be provided but you may use any bait you bring. Anglers ages 9-18 may fish the other lakes but must bring fish to measuring stations at main derby lake for official measuring.
